Don’t be fooled by the name — there’s nothing awkward about this roast. Dry Hump Roast is BeanFlicker’s saucy take on decaf, and it’s a smooth operator through and through.

Sourced from the misty peaks of northern Chiapas, Mexico — and gently stripped of its caffeine using mountain water so pure it probably wears linen — this roast is 99.9% caffeine-free but still full of character.

The beans come from a mix of Bourbon, Caturra, Typica and Catuaí varietals, grown at around 1,000 metres. That slightly lower altitude gives you larger beans with a wonderfully mellow profile — think smooth, soft, and low in acidity. Like a gentle nudge rather than a slap to the face.

Crafted by smallholder legends who deliver to the San Cristóbal and Yajalón stations, this is the kind of decaf that doesn’t feel like a compromise. In fact, you might forget it’s decaf altogether — until you realise you’re six cups in and still suspiciously calm. Now that’s BeanFlicker magic.
